Family Run Business
Simon, his partner Mared and their son are the family that run Paleo Nutrition Wales. They have picked up the torch as it were from Kevin and his sons who started Paleo Nutrition Wales all those years back. Simon and Mared along with their dedicated staff who are more like family, strive to supply the best quality meats and products at all times. We are a family business based in West Wales and pride ourselves on integrity and customer service that is second to none.
Simon - Born in Rhodesia (became Zimbabwe) to parents from Bristol and Shropshire, was brought up on Meat so knows a thing or two about meat and its quality. The taste, texture, colour and smell. Simon is the new face of Paleo Wales and is always happy to speak to customers to offer advice or help.
Mared - Born in Wales, a fluent Welsh speaker and proud of her heritage. Mared brings a wonderful balance of customer service, social media expertise and accountancy. She is fundamental in the addition of new recipes to the website and if you love our Instagram page then it is her that takes the credit.
Crish - Crish is born in Wales, fluent in Welsh and a cook extrodinaire. Her talent for developing flavour knows no boundaries it seems. She is passionate about food, its preperation and the hearty goodness behind it. Crish is always on hand either in the shop or via social media to offer help or advice.
Dave - Dave joined the team in the third quarter of 2018. Having left school at the age of 16, he was immediately employed in the music industry and did 16 years service for the same company. Dave has attained numerous qualifications over the years mainly in customer care and his main love, that of cooking. He is currently our main butcher. Dave is almost always in the shop and is never to busy to offer a hand or advice to our customers.
James - James is Simon`s elder brother. Born in South Africa, raised in Rhodesia and then Zimbabwe, he also understands meat. If you are born in africa, you pretty much cut your teeth on meat. James has represented both Zimbabwe and South Africa in cricket and understands what teamwork means. He stands in for employees and other members of the team as and when is necessary. He is instrumental in offering business advice and uses his sound level business accumen to help in vital business choices.
Paleo Nutrion Wales or Paleo Wales as we call ourselves is now situated with its new family in Morton`s Fine Foods of Cross Hands. Morton`s used to be Gwendraeth Valley Fine Foods, a butchers that has been in this shop for some 30 years. We pride ourselves on our quality, dedication and commitment to our customers.
Not all our team are relatives but this does not mean we are not FAMILY. Family as defined by the Urban Dictionary is a group of people, usually of the same blood but do not have to be, who genuinely love each other, would look out for each other and our family does this and will look after you our customers.
